Location: Huntington Beach, California, United States; on-site
Salary: $160,000–$210,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do
- Design embedded electronic circuit boards with MCUs, high- and low-speed communication buses, digital and analog interfaces, power distribution, EMI, and ESD circuits.
- Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and stackups for flight avionics, guidance systems, communication systems, and power distribution using Altium Designer or similar tools.
- Rapidly build, test, and evaluate hardware prototypes with laboratory tools and test equipment.
- Create and maintain design documentation, CAD drawings, and product specifications.
- Ensure PCB and system designs meet quality, reliability, safety, defense, and export-control requirements.
- Collaborate with mechanical, systems, test, quality, regulatory, and other engineering teams on electrical integration, including vehicle harnessing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in defense or aerospace.
- Experience with high-performance MCUs, high-speed digital and analog circuits, power systems, and interface ICs.
- Strong schematic, PCB layout, stackup, signal-integrity, and power-delivery design skills.
- Hands-on hardware prototyping and testing experience.
- Security clearance or the ability to obtain one; authorization to work in the United States and comply with applicable U.S. export-control requirements.
Nice to have
- Experience with defense industry standards such as MIL-STD.
- Experience with weapons systems or unmanned aerial vehicles.
