Senior Low Level Engineer (Rust)

hirify.global develops an endpoint security product centered on a privileged cross-platform agent.

What you will do

• Build and maintain a privileged Rust sensor for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Implement software inventory, encrypted telemetry, and on-device policy enforcement.
• Work with operating-system services, daemons, process and file APIs, security frameworks, and OS internals.
• Develop the policy enforcement point and integrate it with the backend policy engine.
• Build encrypted logging, crash handling, symbolication, and recovery mechanisms.
• Create signed installers and macOS configuration profiles.

Requirements

• Several years of systems programming experience in Rust, C, or C++.
• Hands-on experience with the internals of Windows or macOS, including services or daemons, process and file APIs, or security frameworks.
• Strong understanding of concurrency, IPC, and debugging issues on real hardware.
• Careful approach to correctness and failure handling for software running with root and SYSTEM privileges.
• Deep fluency with at least one agentic coding tool.

Nice to have

• Endpoint security, EDR, or MDM experience.
• Experience with code signing, installer packaging, or driver-adjacent development.
• Background in cryptography, crash handling, or telemetry pipelines.
