Embedded Crypto Library Architect (Embedded Security): Designing and delivering secure cryptographic libraries for embedded systems with an accent on software architecture, low-level hardware interaction, and protection against logical and physical attacks. Focus on defining requirements and APIs, reviewing critical code changes, addressing technical challenges with engineering teams, and coordinating software quality and releases.
Location: Bucharest, Romania; work-from-home policy available

What you will do
- Drive requirements management for assigned secure software projects.
- Define software architecture, technical specifications, API definitions, and related documentation.
- Contribute to detailed design with cryptography and security domain experts.
- Review critical code changes and monitor code quality, coverage, static analysis, and other KPIs.
- Coordinate with project managers, security and test architects, engineering teams, and business users on execution, integration, and releases.
- Address technical challenges and contribute to cross-project architecture processes.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Microelectronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Hands-on experience developing and debugging embedded systems, including low-level hardware interactions.
- Experience with software architecture and design concepts.
- Proven knowledge of C and assembly programming, with familiarity with ARM and/or RISC-V instruction sets.
- Knowledge of software security and basic cryptographic algorithms; good communication skills in English required.
Nice to have
- Experience with Rust.
- Knowledge of Python.
- Experience protecting systems against physical attacks.
