TL;DR
Cloud Platform Engineer (Terraform | Azure | AKS | Networking): Building scalable and secure Azure cloud foundations and reusable infrastructure patterns with an accent on Terraform automation, AKS operations, and enterprise networking. Focus on implementing hub-and-spoke connectivity, integrating CI/CD deployments, enforcing security guardrails, and troubleshooting cloud platform incidents.

What you will do
- Design, build, and support scalable Azure cloud foundations using Terraform.
- Deploy and operate AKS, App Services, Storage, SQL, Key Vault, Container Registry, and other Azure platform services.
- Implement Azure networking, including VNets, hub-and-spoke architectures, NSGs, UDRs, private endpoints, VPN, and ExpressRoute.
- Build automation and self-service deployment patterns with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Integrate infrastructure deployments with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions and implement automated validation and testing.
- Troubleshoot platform, networking, AKS, and deployment issues while supporting upgrades, monitoring, governance, and incident resolution.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Microsoft Azure, Azure Resource Manager, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with AKS, ACR, Azure App Services, Storage Accounts, Azure Key Vault, and Kubernetes cluster operations.
- Strong knowledge of Azure networking, DNS, load balancers, private connectivity, VPN, and ExpressRoute.
- Experience with RBAC, managed identities, secrets management, logging, monitoring, and security best practices.
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400, or AKS/Kubernetes certifications.
- Experience with Azure Landing Zones and enterprise-scale cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Palo Alto, Cloudflare, Front Door, WAF, APIM, cloud ingress architecture, FinOps, and Azure cost optimization.
