Senior Trademark Paralegal (Trademark)

Location: Seattle, United States; hybrid work schedule. Other listed work locations include Austin, Boston, Boulder, Century City, Delaware, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Washington, D.C., New York, Palo Alto, and San Francisco.

Salary: $53.50–$72.38 per hour in Seattle, Austin, Boston, Boulder, Century City, Delaware, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, San Diego, and Washington, D.C.; $56.31–$76.19 per hour in New York, Palo Alto, and San Francisco. Overtime and a discretionary year-end merit bonus may apply.

What you will do

• Communicate with attorneys, clients, and foreign counsel on trademark clearance, prosecution, renewals, maintenance, filings, and deadlines.
• Prepare, file, and maintain U.S. trademark applications and registrations before the USPTO, including renewals, statements of use, assignments, and powers of attorney.
• Conduct preliminary trademark clearance searches using USPTO, commercial databases, AI tools, and foreign trademark office resources.
• Coordinate global trademark registration strategies, document legalization, foreign filings, trademark watches, and portfolio deadlines.
• Assist with TTAB actions, UDRP complaints, enforcement proceedings, copyright applications, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection recordation.
• Manage docket items, file transfers, records, reports, client updates, and documents in WebTMS.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a trademark paralegal required.
• Proficiency in WebTMS and USPTO filing procedures.
• Knowledge of U.S. and international trademark prosecution rules and procedures.
• Strong project management, organizational, communication, judgment, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively with clients, attorneys, and staff across offices, including overtime as needed.
• A college degree and/or paralegal certificate is preferred.
