What you will do
- Register and account for invoices, reconcile purchase invoices with purchase orders, and verify approvals and policy compliance.
- Resolve vendor payment issues and answer payment-related questions.
- Perform account reconciliations and support month-end and closing processes.
- Support VAT reporting, statutory accounting, foreign-currency accounting, audits, and SOX compliance.
- Collaborate with departments on vendor payment procedures and corporate requirements.
- Contribute to process optimization, automation, technology implementation, and ad-hoc accounting projects.
Requirements
- BS/BA or technical degree in accounting, administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of accounting or accounting administration experience.
- Intermediate Excel knowledge.
- Fluent Spanish and English at C1 level required.
- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of another EU language.
