Senior Motion Designer

What you will do

• Own motion and creative design outcomes for marketing initiatives from brief through delivery.
• Create video content for different audiences, personas, and channels in line with marketing goals.
• Research customer and business needs and translate insights into creative design decisions.
• Partner with Product and Marketing to balance customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
• Contribute to patterns, tokens, motion design system collaboration, and overall brand consistency.
• Communicate design decisions through rationale, storytelling, evidence, collaboration, and feedback.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficiency with modern motion design tools such as Lottie or Rive.
• Strong craft standards in graphic design, motion design, and animation principles.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in iterative environments and use qualitative and quantitative signals.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, handle ambiguity, and balance speed with quality.

Nice to have

• Experience in SaaS or B2B products.
• Experience creating video for technically complex products.
• Experience with AI-enabled features, workflows, or creative tools.
• A portfolio demonstrating the design process.

Hiring process

• Initial interview with People & Culture, followed by a hiring manager interview.
• Design interview with the senior motion designer, including a 30–45 minute portfolio presentation.
• Creative challenge, live design task, review session with the Design team, and final interview with the Director of Design.
• The process includes discussion of responsible AI use and AI fluency in creative work.
