Senior Motion Designer (Healthcare)

Location: San Francisco, hybrid

Annual salary: $120,000–$180,000 USD, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Concept and create motion graphics, UI animation, visual effects, campaign assets, customer stories, product animations, and explainer videos.
• Drive projects from concept through high-fidelity delivery using storyboards, style frames, animation, video editing, and sound design.
• Collaborate with designers, writers, producers, and stakeholders to bring the product and brand to life.
• Develop motion principles, guidelines, self-serve workflows, and templates for broader organizational use.
• Expand the motion language with innovative work aligned to customer needs and business objectives.
• Adopt emerging software, tools, and AI platforms to improve creative quality and production efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in motion design, video, and editing.
• Portfolio demonstrating product, branding, communication design, and storytelling expertise.
• Ability to concept, design, and produce motion assets for brand, marketing, paid social, and organic channels.
• Strong knowledge of motion design, typography, color theory, illustration, photography, layout, and narrative production.
• Experience managing multiple projects, organized files and assets, deadlines, and cross-functional communication.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in San Francisco. Technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including After Effects, Figma, Final Cut Pro, Cinema 4D, and Rive.
