Senior Motion Designer

What you will do

• Define and document hirify.global's motion principles and build a distinctive motion language.
• Design and produce motion for brand identity initiatives, global campaigns, abstracted UI, and product animations.
• Own end-to-end motion for social and paid content from concept through final export.
• Translate static brand assets into animated systems in partnership with the design team.
• Develop new creative capabilities through Rive and AI-assisted workflows.
• Collaborate with brand, growth, product, and creative leadership teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of motion design experience, including senior-level ownership of a brand's motion system.
• Expert After Effects skills with strong 2D animation and editing fundamentals.
• A portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking and communication-focused creative work.
• Comfort working from loose briefs and developing concepts independently.
• Experience with Figma, Rive, Cinema 4D or Blender, illustration, and AI-assisted motion workflows.
• Based in Sydney or Auckland and able to work in a hybrid, office-first environment.
