Styling & Sample Assistant (Fashion)

What you will do

• Pull, steam, and prepare garments for e-commerce, social, and campaign shoots according to style guides and creative direction.
• Assist on set by dressing talent and models, managing changes and fit adjustments, and styling flat-lays and still-life product photography.
• Maintain on-set wardrobe organization, including labeling, steaming, and garment care.
• Manage the full sample lifecycle across design, buying, and marketing, including intake, check-in/check-out, tracking, and returns.
• Organize the physical sample library by category, season, and size run; flag missing, damaged, or overdue samples and follow up with the Buying Team.
• Support product-drop planning, brand collaboration and licensing-partner shoots, sample archiving, donations or sell-offs, and light administrative work.

Requirements

• Two years of experience as an assistant stylist, styling intern, or sample coordinator. Experience in fashion retail, e-commerce, or brand marketing is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of alternative, streetwear, and subculture fashion, including the hirify.global customer.
• Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to own a sample tracking system and prevent samples from going missing.
• Ability to lift and carry garment racks and boxes and stand for extended periods during shoot days.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating samples across multiple departments.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel for tracking.
• Flexible schedule availability for occasional early or late shoot days.

• Adobe or Canva proficiency for look boards.
• Personal styling portfolio or contributed content.
