Location: Torrance, California, United States; primarily office-based with occasional presence on manufacturing floors

Salary: $171,800–$200,600 USD annually for California

What you will do

  • Develop, baseline, and maintain Integrated Master Schedules for multiple concurrent programs using Microsoft Project.
  • Translate program scope and Statements of Work into fully networked, WBS-aligned schedules.
  • Track critical paths, near-critical paths, schedule margin, risks, and recovery or mitigation plans.
  • Integrate cost and schedule data for COGS, ETC, EAC, and variance reporting.
  • Support Integrated Baseline Reviews, Program Management Reviews, audits, proposals, and what-if schedule modeling.
  • Improve scheduling standards, templates, processes, and training across the Program Management Office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may substitute.
  • 12+ years of experience as a Master Scheduler, Program Scheduler, or Project Controls Analyst, preferably in aerospace, defense, or another regulated environment.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Project, including resource loading, baselining, and schedule logic development.
  • Experience maintaining schedules aligned with WBS, contractual Statements of Work, and CDRL requirements.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills for presenting schedule risks to technical and executive audiences.
  • U.S. citizenship is required; ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance is required.

Nice to have

  • Active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project and Smartsheet.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management, EVMS, ANSI-748, and DCMA 14-Point Assessment practices.
  • Experience with Schedule Risk Assessments and Monte Carlo simulations.
  • PMI-SP, PMP, or EVP certification and experience supporting DoD or intelligence community program reviews.
