What you will do

• Develop and execute a content strategy positioning hirify.global as a leading source of labor-market intelligence.
• Serve as editor-in-chief for the hirify.global Econ Lab and turn data trends into reports for major media.
• Manage relationships with labor professors and economists and facilitate academically rigorous op-eds.
• Find and develop worker stories that humanize labor-market data.
• Monitor jobs reports, inflation data, labor strikes, and other news to deliver rapid-response media pitches.

Requirements

• Strong storytelling skills and the ability to turn complex economic concepts into concise headlines.
• Experience building relationships with business and technology reporters, or the initiative to develop them.
• Understanding of the needs of major media outlets and social media influencers.
• Data literacy and the ability to identify compelling insights in datasets.
• Self-directed, ambitious approach with comfort operating in an ambiguous environment.
