Indirect Tax Professional (AI)

hirify.global develops TRAM, an AI-driven tax engine that interprets global trade law and automates compliance calculations, registration, filing, and remittance.

What you will do

• Review and validate TRAM-generated indirect tax determinations at high volume.
• Identify errors, edge cases, and recurring patterns, then provide structured feedback to improve the AI system.
• Serve as a subject matter expert across sales tax, VAT, and GST.
• Conduct tax research for complex determinations and judgment calls.
• Contribute to the design of tax taxonomies and definitions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in indirect taxation, including sales tax, VAT, and/or GST.
• Strong understanding of indirect tax systems in the US and/or internationally.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately through high volumes of tax content.
• High attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Fluency in another widely spoken language, such as Spanish, French, Arabic, or Portuguese.
• Hands-on experience with tax automation or compliance platforms.
