TL;DR
Senior Accountant (AI/Web3): Managing the full accounting cycle, financial reporting, tax filings, treasury, payroll, and audit processes for multiple entities across countries with an accent on SFRS/IFRS compliance, internal controls, and startup finance operations. Focus on building scalable finance processes, improving close and reconciliation through AI automation, and supporting budgeting, fundraising, investor reporting, and due diligence.

What you will do
- Own the full accounting cycle for multiple entities across multiple countries, including payables, receivables, the general ledger, reconciliations, and period-end close.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under SFRS/IFRS and applicable US GAAP.
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, treasury operations, payroll, CPF contributions, and employee expenses.
- Handle GST filings, corporate tax, statutory reporting, and coordination with external tax agents.
- Lead the annual audit and act as the primary contact for external auditors.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-runway planning, vendor contracts, fundraising, investor reporting, and due diligence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of SFRS, IFRS, GST, corporate tax, and Singapore statutory requirements.
- Experience with external or internal audits and independently managing a full set of accounts.
- Experience designing and implementing internal controls and finance processes from scratch.
- Proficiency with Xero, QuickBooks, or NetSuite, plus strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
Nice to have
- CA (Singapore), ACCA, or CPA qualification.
- Exposure to US GAAP.
- Experience or interest in Web3, crypto, or digital-asset accounting.
- Interest in using AI tools to improve finance operations.
