TL;DR
RPA Tech Lead (UiPath): Leading the design, delivery, and operation of UiPath automations for an insurance-sector client with an accent on UiPath Orchestrator, technical architecture, and development quality. Focus on orchestrating robot estates, managing technical debt, guiding developers, and ensuring reliable testing and production integration.
Location: Lisbon, Portugal — hybrid. Existing legal right to work in the European Union is required.

What you will do
- Lead a squad designing, building, and operating UiPath automations.
- Orchestrate the robot estate in UiPath Orchestrator, including queues, schedules, resource allocation, and platform health.
- Own the technical design of user stories and features in line with development standards.
- Guide developers through best practices, peer reviews, technical quality, and skill development.
- Write and validate technical specifications, maintain documentation and JIRA items, and manage technical debt.
- Ensure automations are tested and integrated correctly before production release.
Requirements
- Hands-on RPA development experience with experience leading or technically guiding a team.
- Expert-level UiPath Orchestrator skills, plus strong knowledge of UiPath Studio and UiPath Robots.
- Good development skills in VB.NET and .NET.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and experience writing technical specifications.
- Experience working in an Agile squad with JIRA and Confluence.
- English at C1 level and French at B1 level required.
Nice to have
- UiPath Solution Architect certification.
- Knowledge of the insurance business.
