TL;DR
Tech Lead (.Net/C#) (.NET/C#): Developing innovative solutions and supporting operations for a banking and financial services technology hub in Portugal with an accent on technical leadership, software architecture, and full application lifecycle ownership. Focus on designing maintainable .NET systems, leading through technical expertise, supporting production environments, and applying Clean Code, SOLID, and TDD principles.

Location: Hybrid in Porto or Lisbon, Portugal

What you will do

  • Lead technical development for innovative banking and financial services solutions.
  • Develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET.
  • Guide technical decisions based on software architecture, Clean Code, SOLID, and TDD principles.
  • Support the full application lifecycle, including production support.
  • Mentor developers and collaborate in an international Agile environment.

Requirements

  • Higher education in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT.
  • Strong C# and .NET development experience, ideally 9+ years, including .NET Framework 4.8+ and .NET 8+.
  • Previous technical leadership or mentoring experience.
  • Experience with SQL Server or Azure SQL, Git, Gitflow, Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Experience with Azure Pipelines, Repos, Blob Storage, App Service, and App Configuration.
  • English at B2 level or higher is mandatory; Portuguese at B2 level is nice to have.

Nice to have

  • Banking, payments, or fintech experience.
  • Portuguese at B2 level.
