Software Engineer (Java)

What you will do

• Build simple, maintainable solutions for large and complex engineering problems.
• Collaborate with product, sales, operations, and engineering stakeholders.
• Help evolve a legacy monolith into a modular monolith and event-driven systems.
• Apply domain-driven design, hexagonal architecture, clean code, and object-oriented and functional programming concepts.
• Improve engineering practices through experimentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous delivery.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Strong foundations in computer science and software engineering, including algorithms, data structures, system design, and agile approaches.
• Experience or interest in domain-driven design and hexagonal architecture.
• Understanding of object-oriented and functional programming, test-driven development, and event-driven architecture.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing skills.
• Backend experience with Java and Spring; familiarity with MySQL.
