Software Engineer (Java/Spring)

What you will do

• Build simple, elegant solutions to large and complex software problems.
• Collaborate with product, sales, operations, and engineering stakeholders.
• Help evolve a legacy monolith into a modular monolith and event-driven systems.
• Apply domain-driven design, hexagonal architecture, test-driven development, object-oriented programming, and functional programming.
• Improve engineering practices through experimentation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of software development experience.
• Strong foundations in computer science, including algorithms, data structures, system design, and agile approaches.
• Interest in or experience with domain-driven design and hexagonal or ports-and-adapters architecture.
• Experience with object-oriented and functional programming concepts.
• Understanding of test-driven development and event-driven architectures.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and continuous-learning skills.

Nice to have

• Deep frontend expertise is not required; familiarity with Vue.js is useful.
