SAP Production Planning (PP) Consultant (SAP)

Location: Anywhere in Mexico; candidates must currently reside within Mexican territory. The work model prioritizes in-person collaboration while offering flexibility.

What you will do

• Create production schedules, allocate labor, materials, and machine capacity, and optimize production sequences.
• Develop production plans based on customer demand, inventory levels, and available capacity.
• Analyze capacity, identify bottlenecks, and develop solutions to improve resource utilization.
• Calculate material requirements, manage inventory records, and ensure timely availability of raw materials.
• Create and release production orders in SAP and monitor shop-floor activities, material movements, and finished-goods delivery.
• Track production progress, costs, performance, inventory levels, and cost variances while identifying process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent education.
• 6+ years of SAP experience.
• Strong understanding of SAP Production Planning modules, functionality, and configuration.
• Experience with production planning processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Ability to analyze production issues, identify root causes, and develop efficiency and cost-optimization solutions.
• Experience managing SAP projects, including planning, implementation, and testing, with strong communication skills for stakeholder and cross-functional collaboration.
