Platform Engineer - Testing Platform

Location: Singapore, Singapore; on-site. Only Singapore Citizens will be considered.

What you will do

• Design and develop core components of an on-premise testing platform, including device management, automated test execution, and results processing.
• Build scalable services for diverse device types, architectures, and testing environments.
• Deploy, manage, and optimise virtualization infrastructure using technologies such as VMware, Proxmox, and Nutanix.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering, Security, and Software Engineering teams to integrate platform services.
• Create technical documentation, including design specifications, architecture diagrams, and operational guides.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve platform performance, reliability, security, and user experience.

Requirements

• Degree or background in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Foundational knowledge of VMware, Proxmox, and Nutanix virtualization technologies.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language, preferably Python.
• Understanding of functional, regression, and performance testing concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and system design skills.
• Clear communication and ability to work with technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, automation, or Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Experience with platform engineering, DevOps, or distributed systems projects through work, education, internships, or personal projects.
