TL;DR
Containers Platform Engineer (Kubernetes): Designing and operating secure, reliable container orchestration platforms for mission-critical workloads across on-premise networks with an accent on Kubernetes lifecycle automation, observability, and platform scalability. Focus on integrating security and compliance controls, improving developer onboarding, and solving complex reliability challenges through incident response, SLOs, and continuous operational improvement.
Location: Singapore, Singapore; on-site. Only Singapore Citizens will be considered.

What you will do
- Design and enhance multi-tenant Kubernetes provider platforms and supporting infrastructure.
- Automate cluster lifecycle management, upgrades, and observability workflows.
- Implement monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, or Elastic Observability to meet SLOs.
- Integrate security controls and compliance requirements into the container platform.
- Improve platform usability, application onboarding, and developer productivity while reducing operational toil.
- Respond to incidents, conduct post-incident reviews, and drive reliability improvements.
Requirements
- Degree or background in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong programming or scripting experience with tools such as Git, Terraform, JavaScript, Python, or Bash.
- Good understanding of Linux systems, containers, and networking fundamentals.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience operating or managing Kubernetes clusters in production.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.
- Experience implementing observability and monitoring in large-scale systems.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Kubernetes security concepts, including RBAC, admission controllers, and policy enforcement.
- Experience with GitOps and deployment tools such as ArgoCD or GitLab Runner.
- Understanding of service mesh technologies such as Istio.
- Reliability engineering experience with SLOs, error budgets, and capacity planning.
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure, hybrid infrastructure, networking protocols, and open-source technologies.
