hirify.global is developing a semiconductor- and physics-based computing foundation designed to make AI computation substantially more energy efficient.

What you will do

• Drive invention, prototyping, and validation of core components for a novel AI computing platform.
• Develop theoretical models and simulations of nonlinear dynamical systems.
• Build algorithms, metrics, automated analyses, and practical tools for studying dynamical systems.
• Contribute to hardware/software co-design and experimental validation.
• Collaborate across AI/ML and hardware engineering teams to evaluate model and system trade-offs.

Requirements

• Exceptional technical ability in physics, computer science, electrical engineering, applied mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience tackling complex, ambiguous R&D problems from a blank slate.
• Strong foundation in nonlinear dynamical systems, including ODEs, PDEs, or SDEs, with an understanding of stability, noise robustness, or system capacity.
• Strong Python programming skills with numerical computing and visualization libraries including NumPy, SciPy, and Matplotlib.
• Familiarity with dynamics-based ML architectures, ML training flows, and frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX.
• An MS, PhD, or equivalent research or project experience is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with computer algebra libraries such as SymPy.
• Background in semiconductor physics, machine learning theory, hardware, or AI/ML algorithms.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for cross-functional teams.
