Senior Software Engineer (Supplier Data Manager)

Location: Remote or hybrid setup, with 3–4 days working from home. Work from Anywhere is available for up to 30 days per year. Country-specific benefits are listed for the UK and France.

What you will do

• Scale the Supplier Data Manager architecture, infrastructure, and services for growing enterprise data volumes and customer complexity.
• Build and operate data-processing pipelines that clean, classify, enrich, extract, validate, and distribute supplier catalogue data.
• Improve the reliability and cost-effectiveness of deterministic and LLM-based processing in production.
• Develop collaboration and governance features with guardrails, delegation, and approval workflows for retailers and suppliers.
• Own systems end to end, including customer discovery, delivery, monitoring, metrics, observability, and a shared weekly support rotation.
• Collaborate with adjacent teams to align Supplier Data Manager capabilities with the wider product platform.

Requirements

• Senior-level software engineering experience with strong system design, architecture, data structures, and algorithms fundamentals.
• Strong Python or PHP skills; willingness to learn the other language.
• Experience designing systems for throughput, latency, correctness under load, debugging, and failure analysis.
• Ability to own work from customer discovery and solution design through implementation, diagnosis, metrics, and observability.
• Clear communication, purposeful collaboration, comfort with ambiguity, and an end-to-end ownership mindset.
• Ability to participate in a shared weekly production support rotation.

Nice to have

• TypeScript and React experience.
• Experience with GCP and infrastructure as code.
• Experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code to explore and reason through complex engineering problems.
