Product Designer (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Design user-centered hospital software that balances user needs, medical requirements, technical feasibility, and business goals.
• Create Figma prototypes, intuitive user flows, and high-fidelity screens to communicate, validate, and refine concepts.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, doctors, and other medical professionals to deliver high-quality software experiences.
• Participate in engineering trade-off discussions and evolve the design system, including component consistency and Storybook implementation.
• Formulate hypotheses and conduct user interviews, usability tests, and occasional on-site hospital research.
• Own meaningful product challenges and contribute to critical product decisions in a fast-growing environment.

Requirements

• Degree in design, human-computer interaction, communication sciences, information design, or a comparable field.
• At least 2 years of product design experience in a complex B2B software environment, working on real-world digital applications beyond websites.
• Strong proficiency with Figma, high-fidelity prototyping, UX principles, and testing methods.
• Experience contributing to tokenized design systems and understanding accessibility standards in digital interfaces.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, communicate design trade-offs, and explain impacts on usability, performance, and outcomes.
• Fluency in German and English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in the healthcare industry.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted prototyping tools such as Claude, Cursor, or V0.
