Senior Product Designer, Design systems

Location: Germany (Remote). Remote or hybrid work is also possible from hubs in Berlin, London, Vienna, and Helsinki. Candidates outside Berlin should be able to join team meetings throughout the year and work within +/- 3 hours of GMT.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the design system, including components, tokens, patterns, and documentation.
• Design end-to-end features for web and mobile applications, internal tools, and data dashboards.
• Restructure design-system assets for AI-assisted workflows and prototypes that map closely to production code.
• Partner with engineers to align design tokens, component APIs, naming, and implementation.
• Define standards, review component usage, and help designers work consistently across product teams.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders from discovery through delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or digital design, including at least 1 year in a senior or lead role.
• Demonstrable experience building, scaling, and governing design systems.
• Strong knowledge of component architecture, design tokens, theming, modes, and documentation.
• Advanced Figma skills, including variables, modes, component properties, and auto-layout.
• Experience designing complete product experiences across web, mobile, internal tools, and dashboards.
• Strong communication, organization, interaction design, visual design, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech or B2B SaaS.
• Curiosity about AI- and agent-assisted design workflows.
• Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments.
