Software Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Remote, based in İstanbul, Turkey

What you will do

• Design and build scalable, low-latency systems for real-time trading and financial data.
• Own products end-to-end, from ideation and architecture through development, release, and production monitoring.
• Collaborate with product, design, and infrastructure teams to deliver features with measurable user impact.
• Respond to live incidents, write post-mortems, and implement long-term fixes.

Requirements

• Strong fundamentals in computer science and system design.
• Hands-on backend development experience.
• Deep knowledge of relational databases, caching systems, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with containerized environments and modern cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, microservices, and reactive programming models.
• Experience owning products and delivering impact in production environments.

Nice to have

• Incident response experience in large-scale production environments.
• Exposure to financial or other mission-critical systems.
