RF Engineer, Senior

Location: Hybrid position based in the Mississauga, Ontario, Canada office; at least three days per week in the office

Salary: $90,960–$136,440 annual, plus a target annual cash incentive of 10% of base pay

What you will do

• Design, model, simulate, validate, and troubleshoot RF transmitter and receiver circuit subsystems from 700MHz to 10GHz.
• Complete RF project phases including system cascade design, link budget analysis, circuit design, schematic development, layout, and validation.
• Research and implement AI and ML techniques to improve RF design, testing, and system optimization.
• Drive EMI/EMC troubleshooting, RF system integration, customer issue resolution, and cross-functional debugging.
• Collaborate with RF, antenna, electrical, mechanical, software, system test, JDM, and contract manufacturing teams to bring handheld products to market.
• Develop RF laboratory capabilities, test strategies, tools, and processes that improve product quality and engineering efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience.
• Experience with board-level RF circuit design, RF circuit tuning, troubleshooting, and testing.
• Hands-on familiarity with VNAs, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and RF power meters.
• Experience with RF design in the 450MHz–10GHz range and mobile product development lifecycles.
• Knowledge of RF system integration, radio/antenna optimization, interference mitigation, and cabled or radiated testing methods.
• Experience with ADS, CST, or Cadence design tools is preferred.

Nice to have

• 5G WAN, Wi-Fi 6/7, GPS, BLE, RFID, or UWB experience.
• RF design experience for FCC, ETSI, or 3GPP compliance.
• Experience managing RF/radio development and system integration projects.
