Android OS Specialist (Automotive)

What you will do

• Develop and optimize the full Android software stack, including hardware integration, kernel, NDK, and frameworks.
• Improve performance and user experience in embedded automotive environments using virtual or native implementations.
• Integrate Android applications and HMI applications into the automotive infotainment system.
• Collaborate with designers, hardware engineers, computer vision specialists, and machine learning researchers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with C, C++, and Java.
• Experience building and customizing Android OS and applications, including Android NDK, system architecture, system services, System UI, and APIs.
• Experience with kernel development, Linux OS development, advanced Android debugging, and multi-threaded software design.
• Experience writing unit tests and testable code, and working with virtualization environments.
• Experience with embedded systems and/or automotive software, plus version control tools such as Perforce, Repo, or Git.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Embedded Software, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
