FP&A Associate

Location: Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, United States; must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.

Manufactures American rare-earth permanent magnets for defense, aerospace, automotive, and other critical industries, with a focus on national security and economic resiliency.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, budgets, management reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking.
• Prepare variance analyses and build financial models for strategic initiatives and scenario planning.
• Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to analyze financial drivers and provide actionable insights.
• Support M&A and financing transactions, including diligence, valuation, negotiations, investor analysis, and lender compliance documentation.
• Analyze pricing, target markets and geographies, product portfolios, capital expenditures, and capital allocation decisions.
• Improve finance processes, reporting templates, financial systems, and analytical tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, FP&A, or a related financial role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting principles, ROIC, WACC, and LTV/CAC.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Must be a U.S. Person with access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP systems, Power BI, Tableau, Python, PowerQuery, or SQL.
• Collaborative mindset, eagerness to learn, and strong problem-solving abilities.
