Senior DevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: Must be based in San Francisco (On-site)

Compensation: $230,000 – $260,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Solve complex scaling, performance, and latency challenges for mission-critical billing flows.
• Influence and implement next-generation database, real-time queue, and container orchestration infrastructure.
• Scale best practices using cloud-native technologies including AWS, ECS/EKS, Temporal, and PostgreSQL.
• Build Terraform abstractions to increase architectural velocity and ownership.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to manage critical production events.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and external partners like Stripe and Chargebee.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Francisco for in-person work.
• Extensive experience managing Kubernetes clusters in AWS, GCP, or Azure at scale.
• Proven track record shipping high-quality architectures for mission-critical, high-load, and low-latency systems.
• Deep experience with PostgreSQL at scale.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high-volume transaction data.

• Strong proficiency in Python and Django.
• Experience with large-scale transaction data volumes.
• Passionate about developer experience and infrastructure automation.
