Community Manager (AI)

Location: Palo Alto, United States; onsite. Candidates must be Bay Area based and able to work onsite in Palo Alto.

Salary: $120K–$150K annually, plus equity and performance bonus.

What you will do

• Own the health and growth of the creator community, including the north-star engagement metric, reporting, and real-time dashboards.
• Build direct relationships with top creators and turn them into a central part of the community.
• Automate creator support through bug-reporting, knowledge, escalation bots, and other operational tooling.
• Recruit, train, and manage moderators to maintain high quality and 24/7 coverage.
• Run game jams, AMAs, challenges, competitions, referral programs, and creator payout operations.
• Coordinate creator-facing communication with technology, product, and marketing teams.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of community management experience for consumer or technology products, with experience at Senior Community Manager, Community Lead, or Head of Community level.
• Experience running, optimizing, and growing a community rather than only maintaining one.
• Strong metrics-driven, organizational, communication, and operational simplification skills.
• Empathy for creators, steady communication under pressure, and genuine interest in using and creating with the product.
• Experience managing and growing Discord servers at scale.
• Bay Area location and ability to work onsite in Palo Alto required.

Nice to have

• Background in gaming, streaming, or Discord-native companies.
• Experience running creator programs for creator or fan platforms.
• Experience building bots, automations, or internal tooling for scalable community operations.
