hirify.global develops a silicon spin qubit quantum system-on-chip platform for scalable fault-tolerant quantum computing.

What you will do

  • Lead implementation of quantum error-correction protocols for the silicon spin QSoC platform.
  • Design and modify error-correcting codes, logical-qubit schemes, decoding algorithms, and logical gates for large-scale silicon spin qubit arrays.
  • Specify physical-qubit requirements and guide qubit-topology development to support error-correction schemes.
  • Simulate noise models, quantum error-correction codes, and fault-tolerant computations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, algorithms, theory, software, measurement teams, and external partners to integrate fault-tolerant systems.
  • Develop technical specifications, test plans, manuals, and research publications and presentations.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of academic or industry research experience in quantum error correction.
  • Strong understanding of fault-tolerant quantum computing, including quantum error correction, decoding, logical gate design, non-Clifford gates, lattice surgery, and code switching.
  • Experience implementing quantum error-correction solutions.
  • PhD in quantum computing, physics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent postdoctoral or industry experience.
  • Programming competence in Python or a similar language.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Relevant publications, preprints, or publicly available code.
