Senior Embedded Linux Engineer

hirify.global builds software platforms and an embedded operating system for AI-powered autonomous robotic and drone systems used in enterprise and government missions.

What you will do

• Support and maintain hirify.global products powered by NVIDIA Jetson systems.
• Develop hirify.globalOS features, applications, device drivers, system services, tests, and performance improvements.
• Work with the Board Support team and collaborate with engineering and product teams on internal and customer use cases.
• Integrate new peripherals and MIPI CSI cameras, including hardware bring-up and low-level interface debugging.
• Provide L3 technical support to customers and contribute to internal and public-facing documentation.
• Participate in stand-ups, release planning, and task prioritization.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience with C, Python, and embedded Linux on ARM64 platforms.
• Extensive experience with cross-compilation, debugging, performance optimization, device drivers, device trees, U-Boot/CBoot, and UEFI.
• Experience with NVIDIA Jetson platforms, embedded security, Secure Boot, UEFI, and boot-chain verification.
• Strong Linux, networking, system services, Debian/Ubuntu, systemd, Debian packaging, Docker, and OTA update experience.
• Knowledge of networking across the OSI stack and low-level communications including I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN.
• EU citizenship is required.

• Experience with NXP i.MX8 platforms and BSPs.
• Open-source contributions in the Linux ecosystem.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
