Social Media Manager (AI)

Location: Redwood City, California, United States (hybrid); onsite at least 60% of the working month, approximately three days per week.

Salary: $138,000–$172,000 annual base pay, with possible eligibility for a discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Develop channel- and audience-specific social media strategies across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and Bluesky.
• Plan and execute social content for major launches, campaigns, events, and announcements.
• Build and maintain an evergreen, always-on content engine with creative collaborators.
• Own Biohub’s social editorial calendar and maintain consistency of voice, tone, and brand.
• Track channel and campaign performance, partnering with analytics colleagues to develop insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with content producers, brand marketing, analytics, cross-functional leads, and agency partners.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in social media strategy, ideally in a brand or agency environment.
• Experience developing and executing channel-specific strategies across multiple platforms.
• Experience managing an always-on social presence alongside campaigns and launches.
• Comfort using data and analytics to inform strategic decisions.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.
• Interest in science, technology, or mission-driven work, with willingness to learn.
