Finance & Strategy Manager

Location: Tokyo, Japan office with flexibility for partial remote work

hirify.global provides grading, authentication, vaulting, and sales services for collectibles through brands including PSA, PCGS, Beckett, SGC, and Card Ladder. PSA Japan is the leading third-party trading card authentication and grading service in Japan.

What you will do

• Drive strategic decisions through rigorous financial and business analysis.
• Evaluate investments, pricing, capacity expansion, and new business opportunities.
• Lead financial modeling, scenario planning, long-range planning, forecasts, and business case development.
• Own the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and monthly performance reviews.
• Prepare executive-ready presentations, dashboards, KPIs, and data-driven recommendations.
• Partner with Operations, Commercial, Product, Accounting, and Global Finance teams to improve profitability, efficiency, capital allocation, and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and long-range planning.
• Strong financial modeling, scenario analysis, investment evaluation, advanced Excel, data analysis, and business reporting skills.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, financial performance analysis, and core financial management processes.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and JGAAP.
• Native-level Japanese and business-level English communication skills are essential.

Nice to have

• Experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate strategy, strategic FP&A, or a similar analytical discipline.
• Experience partnering with senior executives and influencing strategic decisions.
• Interest in collectibles.
