User Experience Design Sr. Manager (Automotive)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; work at the Santa Clara facility with up to 20% national and international travel.

What you will do

• Lead UX design for in-car displays and seamless mobile experiences.
• Conduct user research, interviews, surveys, and design research to identify user needs and emerging trends.
• Translate research and business goals into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction concepts.
• Collaborate with UX experts, interaction designers, engineers, suppliers, and vendors from concept through release.
• Coordinate work assignments and handoffs across global teams in China, the United States, and Europe.
• Mentor junior designers and suppliers while maintaining design quality and delivery timelines.

Requirements

• Expert-level user experience design knowledge.
• At least 5 years of experience spanning product strategy, wireframing, prototyping, execution, and analytics.
• Strong understanding of business goals, user behavior, user interface design, interaction design, and usability.
• Experience creating clear, intuitive, and pleasurable user experiences.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary and geographically distributed teams.
