Applied Computational Biologist (AI)

What you will do

• Develop a deep understanding of hirify.global's biological AI models, methods, and roadmap.
• Build trusted technical relationships with customers and understand their scientific and operational priorities.
• Translate customer needs into biological questions, use cases, evaluations, technical requirements, proposals, and customer programs.
• Define scientific questions and analytical approaches, including model and dataset selection.
• Analyze biological datasets, interpret computational results, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work with researchers and engineers to turn successful analyses into repeatable workflows and translate engagement insights into product and research priorities.

Requirements

• Research experience in computational biology, bioinformatics, genomics, or a related field.
• Experience at the intersection of biology, machine learning, and genomics.
• Ability to analyze biological data and interpret computational results.
• Proficiency in Python or a similar scientific computing language.
• Exceptional scientific and technical communication skills, including technical analyses, case studies, and proposals.
• Ability to work full-time and on-site in New York City or San Francisco.
