Lending Pricing Expert (Retail Banking)

What you will do

• Analyze customer behavior, price elasticity, portfolio evolution, product profitability, market trends, competitor pricing, and macroeconomic developments.
• Build and interpret financial and scenario models assessing pricing impacts on P&L, capital, risk, and customer outcomes.
• Develop, implement, maintain, and monitor pricing strategies for mortgages, consumer lending, deposits, fees, commissions, and discounts.
• Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations and identify opportunities to simplify pricing and improve transparency.
• Collaborate with Customer Journey Experts, Product Owners, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Data teams to integrate pricing into digital journeys.
• Support pricing governance through reviews, validations, audits, and regulatory compliance activities.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, product management, business performance, or a related role.
• Strong banking experience with in-depth knowledge of lending products, especially mortgages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
• Understanding of retail banking products, financial indicators, and the regulatory environment.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders and influencing decisions through clear, structured communication.
• Excellent attention to detail, comfort with complex datasets, and a structured, solution-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Familiarity with advanced Excel or Python for analysis and modeling.
• Previous pricing experience in a regulated industry.
