Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer, New Grad - US Government

Location: New York, NY, United States; Workplace: Hybrid

Salary: $135,000–$145,000 per year, plus potential restricted stock units, sign-on bonus, and other incentives.

What you will do

• Support and operate hirify.global software through monitoring, alerting, configuration management, and upgrades.
• Deploy hirify.global products to customer environments and migrate deployments to newer infrastructure types.
• Debug, improve, and optimize services and infrastructure for long-term reliability and scalability.
• Automate manual workflows, operational processes, and runbooks.
• Provide technical troubleshooting for production issues and participate in an on-call schedule.
• Develop infrastructure solutions in hirify.global’s Foundry and Apollo platforms.

Requirements

• Strong engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong coding skills in Java, Go, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Experience or familiarity with large-scale production systems, load balancing, monitoring, distributed systems, or configuration management.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems independently using observability tools and service logs.
• Active US Security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security clearance.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in multifunctional teams.
