Senior Platform Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design and build reliable platform capabilities shared across enterprise and consumer AI products.
• Develop backend and systems software focused on performance, security, maintainability, and operational reliability.
• Create stable APIs, SDKs, documentation, examples, and reference implementations for internal and external developers.
• Own features from architecture and implementation through testing, packaging, release, and production support.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for multi-platform builds, automated testing, artifact publishing, and release automation.
• Diagnose performance, concurrency, reliability, and integration issues while improving developer tooling and workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining APIs, SDKs, client libraries, or developer-facing platform interfaces.
• Strong systems-engineering skills, including concurrency, process boundaries, resource management, failure modes, and performance.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, release automation, production software packaging, versioning, and distribution.
• Ability to write maintainable code, effective tests, technical documentation, and useful examples.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Professional experience with Rust.
• Experience with distributed, peer-to-peer, offline-capable, or edge systems.
• Experience with foreign function interfaces, language bindings, and cross-language or cross-process development.
• Experience building cross-platform software, developer tools, build tooling, or release infrastructure.
• Experience with security-sensitive or privacy-preserving systems.
