is building an AI-native cybersecurity platform for next-generation security operations.
What you will do
- Lead the design and development of scalable backend systems for the cybersecurity platform.
- Drive complex technical initiatives from 0→1, covering system design, technical strategy, implementation, and operationalization.
- Translate ambiguous business and customer problems into technical solutions with product, AI, security, and platform teams.
- Lead design discussions and provide technical direction across multiple engineering domains.
- Improve observability, reliability, testing, deployment workflows, and operational excellence.
- Mentor engineers and help establish engineering standards, practices, architecture, and culture.
Requirements
- 15+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production-grade distributed systems.
- Experience leading large-scale, highly available cloud-native systems.
- Expertise in distributed systems, APIs, event-driven architectures, data-intensive applications, and infrastructure scalability.
- Experience leading complex technical projects involving ambiguity and cross-functional coordination.
- Strong proficiency in Rust, Python, TypeScript, or Go, plus experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
Nice to have
- Experience building AI-native products or integrating LLM- and agent-based systems into production.
- Background in cybersecurity, security operations, or high-sensitivity infrastructure.
- Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS platforms, real-time data pipelines, streaming systems, or large-scale telemetry processing.
- Experience in high-growth startup environments and scaling engineering teams, processes, and technical culture.
