Fullstack Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Fullstack Engineer (Fintech): Working end-to-end on new features, enhancements, and defect resolution on hirify.global's software platforms with an accent on front-end React and backend Ruby on Rails development. Focus on system design, architecture, and peer code reviews as part of the SDLC and Change.

Location: New York, New York, United States. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.

Salary: $130,000 to $160,000 depending on level.

What you will do

• Develop web applications using React for the front end and Ruby on Rails for the backend.
• Participate in architecture reviews and technical design discussions.
• Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings and peer code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS cloud-based solutions.
• 3+ years of Ruby on Rails development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with modern JS frameworks such as React.
• 2+ years of front end and back-end test automation development using RSpec, Cucumber, or similar.
• Demonstrated understanding of relational database concepts and modeling practices.
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies such as K8S and AWS.

Nice to have

• Technical leadership/management experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in an Agile / Kanban methodology.
