2nd Shift Quality Assurance Lead (Food Safety)

Location: Hanover, MD; onsite warehouse role

Salary: $19.50, paid weekly

What you will do

• Perform final quality assurance inspections on outbound customer orders, checking for missing, damaged, or improperly packed items.
• Maintain accurate records for food products, discarded and damaged goods, picking errors, and out-of-stock items.
• Identify and immediately escalate food safety and quality issues to the QC or Operations Supervisor.
• Use heatmap data to identify and address packing errors upstream in the production line.
• Train new team members on company processes and manage changing priorities across receiving and production.
• Serve as backup to the QC Supervisor and QC Lead when needed.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Comfort working in a refrigerated environment at approximately 36°F.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a repetitive, fast-paced environment and accept overtime or occasional weekend work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Experience in a food-based environment.
