Sr. IT Business Partner (Automotive)

Location: Based at the hirify.global location in Novi, Michigan, United States; occasional in-person meetings, events, and business travel required.

Salary: $110,000–$135,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. California range: $121,000–$148,000.

What you will do

• Oversee the IT program and portfolio supporting direct procurement, including parts sourcing, supplier nomination, purchasing, supplier management, and procurement analytics.
• Partner with Procurement, Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, and Quality stakeholders to translate business needs into technology solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend procurement, sourcing, supplier collaboration, and financial technology platforms aligned with vehicle program milestones and compliance requirements.
• Lead end-to-end implementation and enhancement initiatives with software vendors, system integrators, and internal IT teams.
• Govern application support, upgrades, integrations, vendor relationships, contracts, budgets, deliverables, and SLAs.
• Define software strategies and multi-year roadmaps while identifying opportunities for sourcing automation, spend analytics, cost transparency, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 8+ years of experience implementing and managing enterprise IT applications, with experience in direct procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, or product development.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional IT initiatives and driving adoption, standardization, and measurable business value.
• Strong expertise in enterprise business applications and integrating procurement and sourcing platforms with ERP, supply chain, quality, finance, contract management, and reporting systems through APIs or middleware.
• Hands-on experience with direct procurement processes, including parts sourcing, supplier lifecycle management, contracts, purchase orders, cost management, supplier collaboration, and procurement analytics.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate sourcing and vehicle program requirements into technical requirements for non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Automotive or manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience with Ivalua, SAP, supplier collaboration tools, and data integration platforms.
