Transaction Advisory - Data Analytics Director

Location: Los Angeles, CA, United States; hybrid work with in-person attendance at least three days per week at a hirify.global office or client site.

Salary: $223,514–$289,172 base salary per year

What you will do

• Lead multiple client engagements covering acquisitions, divestitures, transaction analyses, and post-acquisition value creation.
• Define business questions, data requirements, and analytical approaches with multidisciplinary Transaction Advisory teams.
• Extract, clean, validate, combine, and model complex financial, customer, sales, pricing, profitability, and operational datasets.
• Identify transaction risks, performance drivers, anomalies, and value creation opportunities through customer, pricing, profitability, forecasting, and location analytics.
• Develop dashboards, visualizations, presentations, and executive recommendations that translate technical findings into business and financial implications.
• Manage client interactions, analytical workstreams, deliverables, deadlines, utilization targets, mentoring, proposals, recruiting, and training initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business analytics, or a related discipline; quantitative degrees may be considered with relevant experience.
• 10+ years of data analytics experience in transaction advisory, M&A advisory, private equity, or a similar professional-services environment.
• Industry-recognized professional certification required.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Alteryx, with proficiency in SQL, relational databases, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or another business intelligence and visualization platform, plus transaction-related and post-acquisition value creation analyses.
• Strong business and financial acumen, project management, presentation, interpersonal, and client-facing communication skills; ability to travel as needed.
