Principal EDA Engineer

What you will do

• Develop and maintain the company's EDA environments and internally customized analogue design flows.
• Manage EDA team resources across multiple projects and design teams.
• Work with design and layout engineers on tape-out flows and verify the quality of submitted GDS data.
• Manage interfaces with foundries for ASIC fabrication flows.
• Provide technical expertise on EDA tools, workflows, and design-process automation.
• Debug EDA issues and coordinate support with tool vendors.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience supporting the delivery of CMOS ASICs using advanced PDKs.
• Experience interfacing with foundries or aggregators, including understanding fabrication deliveries and sign-off criteria.
• Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso, Siemens Calibre, and Keysight ADS.
• Scripting ability in Python, Skill, Bash, and Perl.

Nice to have

• Experience interfacing with external digital and analogue IP vendors.
• Experience with Git data management.
• Exposure to AWS.
