What you will do

  • Design structures supporting hydraulics, fuel systems, propulsion, and avionics subsystems.
  • Perform structural and thermal analyses using hand calculations and finite element analysis.
  • Lead trade studies focused on mass efficiency, cost, and performance across mechanical, fluid, and avionics systems.
  • Own hardware development from concept through design, fabrication, integration, and testing.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, test, suppliers, and customers to deliver producible designs.
  • Present technical work in internal and cross-functional design reviews.

  • Experience or capability in structural design, thermal analysis, and engineering fundamentals including statics, dynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and vibration.
  • Proficiency with CAD, FEA, and PLM tools; NX, Ansys, and Teamcenter are preferred tools.
  • Must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing under U.S. export control requirements.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on prototyping and mechanical assembly experience for complex systems.
  • Mechanical testing experience involving vibration, fatigue, shock, vacuum, and thermal loads.
  • Cross-disciplinary systems integration experience and cradle-to-grave ownership of technically complex projects.

Culture & Benefits

  • 100% employer-paid healthcare and pet insurance.
  • Competitive pay, stock options, 401(k), and potential year-end bonuses.
