Software Engineer (AI)

Location: New York City, United States; on-site, five days per week, with flexibility as needed.

Salary: $160,000–$300,000 base salary plus equity.

What you will do

• Contribute across the full platform, including backend agent frameworks and frontend workflows.
• Build functional v0 products and evolve them into scalable production systems.
• Design architecture, ship quickly, and own outcomes from concept through deployment.
• Partner with customers whose brands, reputations, and names have significant social and commercial impact.
• Make product decisions and help define the culture as the organization grows.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a software engineer building high-quality products.
• Strong holistic problem-solving skills, including evaluation of business and technical tradeoffs.
• Ability to learn new technologies, work independently, navigate ambiguity, and take ownership of product quality and maintainability.
• Experience working in a high-growth, early-stage startup.
• Experience building agents or fine-tuning LLMs for complex tasks.
• Experience building large-scale content indexing systems or familiarity with Next.js, React, TypeScript, tRPC, Vercel, and Postgres.
