Product Design Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Identify opportunities that create meaningful value for users and help shape product direction.
• Design and prototype new product experiences from concept through execution.
• Work on alerts, live video, maps, AI-powered features, and real-time safety workflows.
• Explore multiple product directions through rapid experimentation and functional prototyping.
• Design systems, interactions, workflows, and behaviors—not only interfaces.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, Operations, and Leadership.

Requirements

• Experience building products from 0 to 1.
• Exceptional product judgment and user empathy.
• Strong visual and interaction design skills.
• Ability to build functional prototypes that feel like real products.
• Comfort working across product strategy, design, and implementation.
• Clear thinking, strong written communication, and a bias toward action and experimentation.

Nice to have

• Experience as a founding designer, startup builder, solo creator, design engineer, founder, or creative technologist.
• Curiosity about AI and emerging tools.
• Launched products, created systems, run experiments, or built businesses, side projects, or tools independently.
