Senior Fluid Systems Engineer (Propulsion)

What you will do

• Architect fluid-system networks for engine fuel supply and thermal management.
• Analyze system behavior using Amesim, Thermal Desktop, EES, and REFPROP.
• Design custom fluid hardware and establish subsystem tests to validate component performance.
• Develop mechanical layouts considering manufacturing, installation, and maintenance.
• Analyze test data, improve simulation models using experimental results, and define instrumentation placement.
• Diagnose hardware and software problems and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with fluidic and propulsion systems and test operations.
• Foundational knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and compressible flow.
• Understanding of pressure, temperature, and flow instrumentation, pumps, heat exchangers, valves, regulators, and pneumatics.
• Experience with test instrumentation, data reduction, experimental validation, P&IDs, and 0D/1D thermal-fluid networks for gases and liquids.
• Initiative, attention to detail, high quality standards, and flexibility in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
