Brand & Content Lead (Fintech)

Location: NYC Head Office; hybrid

Salary: $172.5K–$195.5K per year, plus bonus and early-stage equity

What you will do

• Own the content strategy across the blog, newsletter, social media, and video.
• Build the editorial operation, including calendars, workflows, standards, and tooling.
• Develop and execute video content for YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Own content distribution and build a presence in founder and operator communities across Reddit, Slack, Discord, and Facebook.
• Launch hirify.global-owned community spaces and produce customer stories, case studies, and spotlights.
• Build the PR function, develop media relationships, secure coverage, and measure content, PR, community, and pipeline impact.

Requirements

• Experience building a content operation from scratch.
• Experience creating a brand, publication, newsletter, or community with a distinct voice and real audience.
• AI-native approach to content creation while maintaining strong editorial judgment.
• Strong editing and storytelling skills, including the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
• Expertise in content distribution, PR pitching, systems development, and outcome measurement tied to pipeline.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, B2B SaaS, digital-first, or eCommerce brands.
• Relationships with journalists, podcasters, or creators covering eCommerce, DTC, or fintech.
• Hands-on video production or creative direction experience.
• Experience building or moderating communities on Reddit, Slack, Discord, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of cash flow, working capital, and margin challenges facing online brands.
